Novo álbum de originais “Delta Machine”
Os Depeche Mode preparam-se para editar um novo disco, o 13º da carreira, a 25 de Março pela Sony Music. O álbum está hoje em streaming exclusivo no iTunes.
O àlbum foi gravado entre Santa Barbara na California e Nova Iorque, foi produxido por Ben Hillier e mixado por Flood. O segundo single “Sooth my soul” chega hoje às rádios nacionais. Para além da edição normal de “Delta Machine”, a banda irá também disponibilizar uma edição Deluxe com 4 faixas extra acompanhadas por um booklet de 28 páginas que incluem fotos do colaborados oficial Anton Corbijn. Marin Gore disse acerca deste álbum: ” “Writing this album was incredibly daunting as I wanted the sound of this collection to be very modern. I want people to feel good about listening to this record, to get some kind of peace. It’s just got something magical about it.” Dave Gahan referiu ainda: With this release we’ve completely shifted our idea of how to create an album. When we hit a wall where we realize the album is beginning to sound too normal, we’ll mess it up and really give it that organic Depeche Mode Sound. Delta Machine is no different, and I can’t wait for all of our fans to hear it.” A banda britânica actua ainda como cabeça de cartaz na edição 2013 do Optimus Alive, no dia 13 de Julho, numa digressão europeia que irá começar em Tel Aviv a 7 de Maio.
